Does taking vitamin C and zinc supplements help acne?
My acne is not Servers. I have some buttons around my chin and forehead. In general they are very red and swollen. I took vitamin C for a couple of weeks and have noticed an improvement in my skin. I've heard of zinc may be beneficial skin too, and therefore more healthy, acne free. Is that taking these two supplements help? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Thank you.
Benefits – apparently, vitamin C can improve your skin condition. Zinc is listed to help the drawbacks of skin problems: – Both have serious side effects if used high doses or for too long. Keep the C to 1000 mg per day and 15 mg of zinc per day. Use no more than two weeks.
